Wednesday March 4th 2009 Privy Dig
Well after a late February snow had dumped about 8 inches on us we decided that Shoveling snow sucks and that we should go shovel some dirt. Alan had some pits lined up in Wilmington so we Showed up at 7:00am and picked one. We quickly opened it up and started taking it down. It was a typical 4 foot across round brickliner behind an 1860s house on the west side. This pit ended up being about 18 feet deep and was clay and ash to the bottom. With no layer what so ever. This pit made the snow shoveling look like fun. But proves the point they all can't be great.
